Aced Flipament and Blitzkrieg Tournaments
Each player is automatically moved all-in on the first hand. Aced Poker Flipaments have 2 people at the table and Blitzkriegs are 6 handed. If there is a split pot, another hand will be dealt and the players will be all in again. It takes a lot of gamble to play in these and there really any thought that goes into it. Just have fun and hope to run good.
Aced Bounty Tournaments
In a bounty tournament, a portion of each players buy-in goes into the bounty pool. Every time that you are able to knock out a player in a bounty tournament, you will receive the bounty on their head. On Aced.com the standard bounty tournament will put 50% of your buy-in into the regular tournament pool and the other 50% into the bounty prize pool.. This means that you can actually make your money back before you even make the money. You won't have to worry about getting a huge chip stack in a bounty tournament and then getting unlucky right before the money. This also means that you can be a little bit more consistent with your profits in these tournaments.
Aced Rakeback For Tournament Players
When you sign up at aced.com through this page you will get paid 30% of all the rake that you pay to the poker room. Rebuy Tournaments
In a rebuy tournament, players have the option to buy more chips after they are knocked out of a tournament. A rebuy period is set, this is usually 1 hour into the tournament. Once the rebuy period is over, any player that runs out of chips will be knocked out of the tournament.
These tournaments are fun and they tend to have a lot of action in the first hour. Sometimes they are limited to 1 rebuy and 1 add-on which keeps things sane.
Shootout Tournaments
This is a unique tournament structure where you sit down and play 1 table just as if it was a sit n go. Once your table is complete you will wait for the other tables in the shootout to be complete. Then the winners of each table will move onto the next round and each table will play down to 1 player again.
This means that to win the tournament, you really only need to beat 3 tables of people. This is one of my favorite tournaments on Aced and you can find these under the tournament lobby tab.
Freeroll Tournaments
Aced poker freeroll tournaments are available to all of their players. There is no buy-in for these tournaments on Aced, but players can win real money prizes. There are also private freerolls and freerolls that you will need to qualify for. There is even monthly freerolls for players who early enough comp points.
Aced Satellite Tournaments
A satellite tournament is a real money tournament where you win tickets into larger poker events rather than cash prizes. You can find all types of satellites on Aced Poker including satellites into their own multi-table tournaments. You can also find satellites into some of the world's largest poker events like the European Poker Tour.
Aced Sit 'n Go Tournaments
Sit n Go tournaments are typically 1 table tournaments that will start whenever the max number of entrants is reached. You can find Sit 'n Go tournaments on Aced that are heads up 2 players and the largest sit n go at the moment is 18 players.
